Ride for Life – More than 5,500 miles…
September 28th through October 13th, 2012. A Smashing Success!
Two-week cross-country motorcycle tour in 2012 to create new partnerships that will help bring free mental health care to US service members and veterans.
Brian Kinsella, SSS CEO, will speak with senior military leaders, suicide prevention professionals, and veterans at military installations. Discussion topics include the SSS mission, partnerships, recent inquiries for service, current suicide trends, and partnerships.
Over the last year SSS has made significant progress building new partnerships with the US Military, Department of Veterans Affairs, and other non-profit organizations supporting soldiers and veterans. We aim to be the number one civilian capture organization for soldiers and veterans seeking mental healthcare in this country and with your help we can make this happen!
The Ride For Life helped us not only touch many, many Veterans’ lives, but we also made partnerships with the DoD and the VA.
So how can you continue to help?
1. Spread the word about the mission of Stop Soldier Suicide
2. Support our social media campaign- Like us on FaceBook and Follow us on Twitter
3. Start a local SSS chapter.
Want to take up the charge and have your own Ride for Life? We would love to see motorcycle groups and Veterans take up the Ride For Life on their own each year. Contact Brian.Kinsella@stopsoldiersuicide.org
